Context:
Amazon’s Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program enables individuals to establish their own delivery business under Amazon’s brand—more akin to franchising than employment. However, the existing website (adapted from North America) wasn’t effectively communicating this nuance to EMEA audiences, leading to confusion and misaligned applications.
The Challenge:
The DSP site wasn’t clear or accessible: applicants often misunderstood it as a job listing. The platform had to be accessible, easy to understand, and tailored for multiple regions—requiring a scalable, high-impact redesign under tight technical constraints.
My Role & Solution:
I led the complete redesign strategy from vision to delivery:
- Strategic UX & Content Overhaul: Restructured navigation, improved copy clarity, and applied inclusive design principles for accessibility.
- Global-Local Leadership: Aligned stakeholders across Senior Leadership, Regional Managers, Marketing, Legal, PR, and Tech across NA and EMEA.
- Execution Accelerator: Bridged gaps via hands-on front-end edits—drawing on my web development experience to accelerate roll-out.
- Localization Roadmap: Delivered content-ready versions in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.
Impact
- Influenced North America’s global platform strategy through tangible results in the EMEA iteration.
- Improved clarity and user trust in the DSP offering with accessible, regionally adapted UX.
- Demonstrated rapid, cross-functional delivery that balanced strategic oversight with agile execution.
